Bringing the Design to Life

As the work progressed, the framework for the extension was carefully constructed, and the orangery roof began to take shape. With the structure in place, the next step involved creating the hole for the roof lantern, which would flood the space with natural light and provide a stunning focal point. Throughout this phase, every detail was meticulously managed, from ensuring the correct alignment of the roof beams to carefully installing the lantern. This attention to detail ensured a smooth and seamless finish, making sure everything fit perfectly into the overall design

Installing Windows, Doors, and Electrics

With the framework complete, the focus shifted to adding the windows and French doors, which enhanced both the aesthetics and functionality of the extension. The French doors were fitted with a cat flap, offering convenience for pets without compromising the stylish look of the space. Along with these additions, the plasterboarding was carried out to prepare the walls for the plastering and paint. Additionally, the electrical work was completed during this stage, with wiring and outlets installed to accommodate the lighting, outlets, and any other electrical needs.

The Finished Transformation

In the final stage, the fascias and soffits were installed, along with guttering to ensure proper drainage and a neat finish to the roofline. A brick knockout was also made between the kitchen and the extension, creating a seamless connection between the two spaces. These finishing touches brought the entire project together, leaving a beautifully integrated extension ready for daily use.
